Repair Procedures (We Do NOT Sell Replacement Parts)
It is Accurate Dial Gauge's policy to completely overhaul and repair tools to like-new working condition.
Tools will be disassembled and thoroughly cleaned using ultrasonic methods.
The condition of all contact measuring surfaces will be inspected. Out-of-tolerance conditions will require resurfacing using methods such as lapping, polishing or grinding.
Parts that are worn and deemed necessary for the tool’s smoothness, repeatability, and accuracy will be replaced. Parts will also be replaced for cosmetic reasons at ADG's discretion. Furthermore, new crystals will be installed on ALL repaired tools.
A final inspection consisting of calibration, smoothness and repeatability checks will be performed on all repaired tools. Certified test equipment, traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.), will be used to verify measurement accuracy throughout a tool's entire range.
All repairs are safety sealed in plastic prior to being processed for shipping.
